DORON is a creative atelier focused on space making and improvement. It was founded in 2022 by Anca Teodora Lungu in Basel, Switzerland. Her multi-cultural background established a particular design approach for the atelier: latin sensitivity contoured by slavic pragmatism and enriched through swiss meticulosity.
The atelier’s contribution unfolds across borders, particularly close Romania and to Central Europe. It operates across a variety of sectors including private housing, workplace fit-out, retail, object and furniture design.
DORON bases its creative process on a user-centric methodology. Through collaborative dialogue with clients and future users, our projects become tangible extensions of personal values and aspirations.
Anca Teodora Lungu
Anca is an architect and furniture designer. Her creative approach takes inspiration from all the different countries she’s practiced in: Romania, Czech Republic, Portugal and Switzerland. She has a Master’s degree in Architecture from Academy of Mendrisio (2021) and has collaborated with many architecture studios such as EM2N, Mjölk, STUDIO BANANA and OMAMBO. In 2022 she founded her independent professional practice and continues to collaborate with other creatives.
